Happy Easter 2011

Happy Easter!! It has been a beautiful day!! We had all of our services in the new building today!! Our church has been so blessed this past year!! Emaline was honored to be an acolyte for Easter today!! We hope all of you have had as great an Easter as we have!!:)

Field Day

Field day was so much fun!! Emaline and her class had such a good time!! Of course their favorite part was getting wet!! It was such a beautiful day to be outside!!

Happy 8th Birthday!!

Happy 8th birthday Emaline!! She had a great birthday. We really enjoyed a visit from Harry and Snowflake!! They left the day after her birthday!! We miss them already!!

Birthday Weekend at the Races

Barber Motorsports Park is gorgeous!! We have spent the past two days there for the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama. Yesterday we had paddock (pit road) passes, so we got to see a lot!! Today was the big race!! We got there early and scoped out a good shady spot and then went exploring until the big race. We especially enjoyed the motorcycle museum and the ferris wheel. On top of all of that. . .we got to see Danica Patrick AND Marco Andretti race!! The weather was absolutely beautiful also! We had to take Harry and Snowflake because we found them in the backpack this morning!! We figured that was their way of saying they want to go too!! I think Emaline has had a great birthday WEEK!! Her real birthday is tomorrow!!:)

More Birthday Elfin Escapades

Harry is still hanging out with us!! He seems to be taking full advantage of his vacation from the North Pole!! I think he may believe that the Barbie house is his house!!! He has also become interested in Harley Davidson apparently! Em left him a note, and he wrote back that he is a baker elf. Apparently he loves chocolate (we kinda already guessed that from the chocolate candy wrappers we find when he is here!!), and that Santa loves his hot cocoa!! We are glad he came for Em's birthday!! We are headed for a race weekend for this last weekend of birthday celebrations!!:)

Seussical Jr., Fine Arts Night, and Harry

Tonight was fine arts night at Em's school. The children had artwork on display, and the theater group performed "Seussical Jr." They did a great job!! It was super cute!! Harry is still loving the Barbie house!! We caught him looking at Em's baby pictures this morning!! I think he really likes her!! The real birthday is only a few days away!!

Birthday Elfin Escapades

Harry has been busy!! He is a funny little elf. Snowflake is always with him too!! We have found him on top of the armoire, on the keyboard, and in the Barbie house. He must miss Santa!! He decorated the keyboard for Christmas and left Christmas music out for Em to play. He has also discovered that Barbie's house fits him just fine!! We commonly hear, "Where's Harry?" So where will we find Harry next? Also, we are curious to see how long he will stay this time. Em's actual birthday isn't until the 11th!!

Birthday Week Begins!

Grandaddy is here for the theater production on Tuesday, so we decided to celebrate a little early. Harry the Elf even showed up with a birthday gift this morning!! I think Emaline had a pretty good day!! :)
