McWane Field Trip

The entire first grade went on a field trip to McWane Center today!! We had a great time!! Emaline's favorite part was petting the sharks!!

First Lost Tooth!!

Emaline lost her first tooth today!! She is very excited!! She is the last in her class to lose one, and she has been patiently waiting (not!!)!! I hope the tooth fairy comes, because she has very high expectations!! She is now our little snaggle-tooth girl!!:)

Beautiful Wedding

My cousin Jessica got married today on Lake Wedowee. It was a beautiful wedding and a perfect day!! Jessica was a gorgeous bride. We enjoyed the wedding, the weather, and the lake very much!! Congratulations Jessica and Jeff!!:)

Field Day 2010

Today was Field Day for first grade. They had a great time!! Emaline's favorite was the bucket pass, because they all got soaked!!:)

Birthday Lunch and a Movie

Instead of a party this year, Emaline invited four of her BFFs to lunch and a movie. If you have never been to a Japanese steakhouse with five first graders, you have missed quite an adventure!! We LOVED the movie, How to Train Your Dragon 3D!! It was awesome!! We topped it all off with a stop for ice cream. We had a GREAT day!!!:)

Birthday Weekend Begins!!

Emaline's birthday is Sunday!! She will be seven years old!!!:) James took a special snack to school for her class from Krispy Kreme to celebrate. I think the class enjoyed it!! Also, Grandaddy let her choose a new bike at Toys R Us!! Can't beat a day like today!!!

Rumble in the Jungle

The first grade had their musical tonight. It was called "Rumble in the Jungle." Emaline was a lion. They were really cute!!

Easter 2010

Happy Easter!! We have had such a blessed Holy Week!! It has led to an amazing Easter Sunday!! Em woke up and hunted eggs around the house and dug through a dark chocolate-filled basket left by that famous bunny. Church was glorious. We have an amazing staff who really made this past week meaningful!! We are so grateful for all of the love and hard work they put into worship each week. Enjoy the pics of Em!!
