Happy New Year's Eve from Downtown Disney

Happy New Year's Eve!! We made a very spontaneous decision to head to Orlando for the weekend!! James and Daddy are going to cheer on the Tide tomorrow at the Citrus Bowl. Em and I are going to visit Mickey and his friends!! We wish you were all here with us!! We are having a great time!!

Almost White Christmas

It has been snowing off and on all day today and most of yesterday!! So what have we been doing? We have been waiting for clear skies to try out the telescope, playing Wii, and holding on to that much begged for pillow pet!! We are also painting Em's new room. We will see how she likes it upstairs!! Wish us luck!!

Merry Christmas!!

Good Morning and Merry Christmas!! Santa came to see us last night!! He took Harry and Snowflake home but left Emaline some great gifts!! Harry even left Emaline a sweet note!! We hope you all have a great Christmas!!

Christmas Eve 2010

Merry Christmas Eve!! Harry and Snowflake should be heading home tonight with Santa. We will miss them, but we have had loads of fun since they have been here!! They have apparently been practicing the sleigh ride!! They left Emaline a special breakfast this morning with a gift to remember them by. We hope they come back soon!! The local fire department brings a Santa-helper around to see the children every Christmas Eve!! We were glad to see them today!! Em opened a gift of new PJs with little gingerbread men all over them!! They are quite appropriate seeing as how much she loves gingerbread. We have left Santa a plate of his favorite, chocolate chip cookies, and a gingerbread man. We hope he has a great trip tonight!! Merry Christmas!!

All I Want for Christmas. . .

Emaline lost her OTHER front tooth yesterday!! We can already see her new teeth poking through!! I guess she will not be toothless for long!! Elf Harry and Snowflake are still up to their silly antics!! We have found them in the Christmas tree, Em's boots, the tea pot, and even the window. We assume they were trying to watch the lunar eclipse last night. We also tried to no avail because of the clouds!!

Elfcapades

Elf Harry and Snowflake have been enjoying their time with us!! They have been snacking, tea partying, driving the Barbie car, and snowball (cotton ball) fighting. We even found them reading a HUGE book Emaline brought home from school! We came home from school one day, and they were sitting next to a very large wrapped present under the tree. Emaline is begging to open it, but she will have to wait until Christmas!! They love to hide!! It took us until bedtime to find them one night!! We found them hidden under the pillows on Emaline's bed!! I hope they don't do that again!! It created a lot of heartache!!

Piano Christmas Recital 2010

Emaline had her first piano recital this afternoon!! She did great!! We are so proud of her!!

Harry and Snowflake

Harry has stuck with the little reindeer since she got here!! Her name is Snowflake! They seem to be the best of friends! We wonder if she is not his pet from back home at the North Pole!! They have been climbing, playing, and eating snacks together at night!! Emaline adores them both!!

More Elfin Escapades

We have found Harry in several places!! He seems to like to crawl into stockings!! He brought Em a precious little white reindeer that he seems very attached to also!! It seems to always be cuddled up with him when we come home. He is still stealing candy and hanging out with Em's stuffed cats. He is a funny little fella!!

Em and Harry

Harry is still a very sweet elf!! He has apparently heard her beg for Dunkin Donuts!! One night he brought her a pink DD cup and the next he brought a DD gift card!! We thought it was only appropriate to take him along when we went. He sat in the DD Christmas tree and watched Em enjoy a donut!! He also likes to throw around the gloves and hats from the winter basket and play with toilet paper. The most surprising thing is that he apparently knows the tooth fairy!! Em lost a top front tooth yesterday!! This morning, Harry was sitting on the table holding the empty tooth fairy box and a five dollar bill!! Emaline is having a great time with Harry!!8)

Elfin Escapades

Harry is a good little elf!! He likes to hide and show up in unexpected places. He also really likes candy and sweets. We have found him in the Christmas tree (more than once), a stocking, and on top of Emaline's pillows on her bed playing with a Webkin kitty. He tends to carry snacks around the house and leave empty wrappers also. We heard a thump yesterday morning, and when we came looking for the noise, it appeared that he had fallen out of the Christmas tree. He likes to bring Emaline little gifts. He has given her a cute gingerbread cookie and Pokemon cards. What will he do next?

Well, so far Harry is a good elf!! He is, however, a junk food junkie!!
